Goodbye to our friend Tippy

Tyler and Tippy

Just two months ago we had to say goodbye to our kitty neighbor Tyler, the big kitty on the left. This weekend, we had to say goodbye to his sister Tippy.

Mom took care of these kitties when the neighbors were away and helped their mom trim claws and give medicines. Mom nick-named Tyler “Rolling Thunder” because he made a thunderous sound when he ploped his 25-pound bundle of handsomeness off the back of the chair and galloped through the house.

Tippy's gorgeous eyes

Tippy was much smaller than Tyler, but she had just as big a heart and personality. She was velvety soft, had stunning blue eyes, and was extremely affectionate. She always wanted to be held and gave gentle love licks to show how much she loved you. She’d also sit in the widow facing our house so we could see her and say goodnight.

We’ll miss Tyler & Tippy. They spent all but the last few weeks of their lives together, and now they’re together, forever, in Spirit World.
