Dogs at Work Postage Stamps

We like to collect postage stamps with animals on them. Mostly we look for cats, but we have some dogs and wildlife too.  Today we though we’d share some dog stamps.

Service Dogs postage stampsOn January 20, 2012 the U.S. Postal Service released a set of stamps celebrating the partnership between dogs and people.

Four stamps depict dogs at work. There’s a guide dog assisting a blind woman; a therapy dog visiting an elderly woman in her home; a military dog scouting and tracking; and a search and rescue dog in a field.

We think service dogs are amazing. They are so talented at what they do and they can help people in so many different ways.
