Last December I thought it would be fun to get Raven a doll bed that you often see people using as a cat bed. It’s so cute and it would be perfect to put over the heater vent so Raven could have a little bed and we could still get heat.
In typical cat fashion, she refused to have anything to do with it. I even made a little mattress out of memory foam so it would be comfortable. Nope. She refused to get on it. She actually acted afraid of it.
The little bed has been sitting in a corner of our living room for nearly 11 months and I’ve been tempted to ask the neighbors if their girls would like it as a bed for their dolls.
I’m glad I didn’t give it away because Raven finally decided it’s an acceptable spot to take a little snooze.
I purchased the Duktig doll bed from IKEA $15, easy assembly. If you search the web you’ll see people being very creative making double-wide beds, bunk beds, triple stacked beds for their cats. It’s very amusing and there are lots of cute cat photos!
